Ursinus College seeks a collaborative, visionary, and strategic leader to serve as its next Vice Provost for Campus Life and Chief Student Affairs Officer. The new vice provost will have the opportunity to strengthen and grow the division, ensuring a campus life environment that reflects a dynamic and diverse student body in alignment with Ursinus College's strategic focus on hands-on learning and applied liberal arts.
Founded in 1869, Ursinus College has evolved into one of the nation's "Colleges that Change Lives" and a place that embodies openness—open to explore, learn, and innovate. Located in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, Ursinus is a private, not-for-profit college that serves 1500 students from 32 states and 8 countries with over 60 areas of study. Reporting directly to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic and Campus Life, Dr. Gundolf Graml, the Vice Provost for Campus Life and CSAO will oversee a robust division that includes student engagement, health and wellness, residence life, dining, the Institute for Inclusion and Equity, student conduct, and campus safety. The vice provost will support the provost and campus leadership in creating an impactful, holistic student experience across all academic and non-academic student life areas.
This ambitious agenda will also include the further integration of the Institute for Inclusion and Equity (IIE) into Campus Life. Additionally, the vice provost will support the implementation of a transformative campuswide repositioning strategy, APEX (Applied. Professional. Experiential). which will provide all students with intentional and guided opportunities to combine a strong liberal education with a wide range of applied opportunities, from project-based learning and entrepreneurship learning in the classroom to leadership externships and internship opportunities.
