School of Dentistry - Endodontic Faculty, (Clinical) Track
Details
The University of Utah School of Dentistry (UUSOD) is seeking applications for a full-time (Clinical) Track Endodontist. We are looking for applicants who are committed to our mission of advancing oral health through research, education, service, and belonging. We also seek individuals whose drive, intellectual curiosity, and innovation will help advance oral health care and will help us achieve our goal of being the preeminent dental school by 2030.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with education and experience. This position requires 0.8-1.0 FTE or a 4-5-day per week commitment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Direct clinical supervision of predoctoral students of all levels.
- Clinical training occurs within the School of Dentistry and its satellite community health clinics.
- Classroom and simulation clinic teaching of predoctoral
students.
- Future responsibilities in post-graduate clinic and classroom
as advanced education program is developed and started.
- Scholarly activities
- Service
- Work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary care of
patients in the restorative, prosthetic, periodontics, oral
surgery, and oral diagnosis sections.
Requirements: - DDS or DMD degree
- Graduate of a CODA accredited dental school
- Certificate or master's degree in endodontics from a CODA
accredited endodontic program
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of
Endodontics
- Eligible for a Utah dental license
- - Requirements for a Utah dental license are found on DOPL
- Preference will be given to individuals with previous teaching
and research experience.
