Job Summary/Basic Function

Provide technical and administrative assistance to the FSD Systems Engineer and Manager of the Center for Energy and Sustainability in all aspects of the energy management program activities and projects on campus through the Center for Energy and Sustainability. Manages/oversees all aspects of the university recycling program, including on-campus and off-campus recycling activities and reporting requirements. Provides technical and administrative support to facilitate the Sustainable Campus Fee program activities. Provides additional technical support to Facilities Services in utilities cost allocations and reporting, work unit productivity reporting, and web services.

Required Education

A bachelor's degree in environmental science, ecology, or a related industrial technical field is required.

Required Related Experience

Three (3) years experience in directly related environmental, ecology, or governmental agency field work.

Required License/Registration/Certification

A valid driver's license is required.

Desirable Related Experience

Master's degree preferred. Experience in technical writing, desktop publishing, and providing educational/training services preferred.
