Position Summary

The University at Buffalo, School of Management, is seeking to fill a non-tenure track faculty position in the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor.

Primary duties include:
  1. Teaching the first-year experience course sequence to School of Management undergraduate students.
  2. Collaborating with faculty and staff to curate and promote student engagement activities across curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular dimensions, fostering a strong sense of belonging.
  3. Engaging with students in professional development activities.
  4. Engaging with industry professionals and alumni who contribute to the school and program activities.


The successful candidate will be expected to play a significant role in the development and delivery of education at the undergraduate levels.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must hold a graduate degree (PhD, MBA or MS) in business or a related field by spring term 2025.
  • Candidates with a bachelor degree, 10+ years of college-level teaching experience and 20+ years of relevant industry work experience are also eligible to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding record of teaching performance in business subjects.
