  • Reporting promptly to both the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports and the S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs
  • Managing financial operations, including overseeing public and private funding sources, and ensuring sound expenditure practices
  • Overseeing the administration of scholarship programs for U.S. citizens in the Czech Republic and Czech citizens in the United States, including supervising the selection and placement processes and supporting their successful engagement in the program

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with domestic and international academic institutions, particularly in the United States and the Czech Republic
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, intercultural competence, and the ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative
  • Professional-level proficiency in Czech and English (C1/C2-level according to the CEFR); proficiency may be tested
  • Eligible to work in the Czech Republic by the position start date
