Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Create, compile, verify, maintain and process reports on Human Resources metrics and data using a variety of systems and tools.
- Process multistep payroll-related activities including but not limited to system mass changes, salary table maintenance and associated jobs rolls, position classifications, fiscal year jobs roll, complex report writing, faculty salary deferral processing, larger system projects, and other system maintenance.
- Assist with HCM testing, including system upgrade testing, scheduling and communication.
- Disseminates information that may require explanation and interpretation of established University and departmental policies and procedures; directs individuals to sources of additional information as needed.
- Assists with responding to inquiries sent to the Human Resources that may require communicating with employees about HR concerns as needed.
- Conducts special HR-related computer software and hardware projects and assignments as directed.
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in information systems, business, human resources, or related field.
- Two to three years progressive Human Resources Information Systems experience .
- Previous experience with report development, data analysis, testing and/or implementation of systems or applications.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Human Resources Information Systems.
- Previous experience with WorkDay preferred.
- Previous experience with Argos preferred.
- Experience using relational databases and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of database design, structure, functions, and processes.
- Ability to apply HR functional knowledge to the HRIS environment to improve business processes and procedures.
- Ability to effectively organize, structure, prepare and/or present data. Position demands an individual who is detail oriented, possesses organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency.
- Excellent investigation and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive as part of a team.
Salary: $50,000-$60,000; commensurate with experience
- Limited benefits package including medical, life insurance, wellness resources and tuition waiver effective on date of hire.
