Responsibilities:
The American Sign Language Program seeks candidates to teach undergraduate courses such as ASL, deaf culture, history, or literature and linguistics courses.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field strongly preferred. Fluency in American Sign Languages required. ASLTA or RID-certified strongly preferred. Three to five years of teaching experience in ASL, or interpreting strongly preferred. Cross-cultural understanding and excellent communication skills required. Positions available contingent upon enrollment, funding and programmatic need.
