Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and have a desire and ability to work with a diverse population. This is a part-time, non-unit position with no benefits. Reporting to the Director of Accessibility Resources, the Test Proctor will provide support with exam proctoring on the Framingham and Wellesley campuses.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer and proctor exams to incoming students in accordance
with testing policies and procedures;
- Maintain testing supplies and materials, troubleshoot test
administration problems, and ensure optimal testing
conditions;
- Maintain high level of security and confidentially regarding
all aspects of testing and materials;
- Maintain trainings and certifications as needed to proctor
Placement or other exams;
- Assist with printing, filing, scanning and emailing exams as
needed;
- Act as a reader or scribe as needed in accordance with approved
student testing accommodations;
- Report any violations of the Code of Conduct to
supervisor;
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience;
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work both
independently and collaboratively;
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other
similar programs;
- Equipment experience and skill usage in computers, printers and
copiers;
- Ability to give written and oral communication
instructions;
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling
confidential information.
- Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action

- Experience working in a diverse environment;
- Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved
students.
Salary Range: $25 per hour
Position Type: Part Time Employee
