Job Summary
The Office of the Registrar seeks an energetic team player to join the registration team as a Student Services Coordinator. The Office of the Registrar is a fast-paced, collaborative unit that is dedicated to providing students, faculty, and staff with superior service in a large variety of different tasks and processes. The registration team in particular plays a critical role on Auburn’s campus, serving in a front-line capacity helping students while also providing essential support to the campus community.
This position will help coordinate academic procedures, verify policy, solve programs, and facilitate requests from students, faculty, and campus partners regarding the functioning and correct tracking of student records. This position works within the following functional areas in the Office of the Registrar: registration, grades, curriculum records, readmissions, directory information, academic standing, and academic action.

Essential Functions
• Coordinate and verify policies and procedural requirements for incoming requests, verifications, and Workflows
• Understand and consider the repercussions of business processes and their downstream effects across campus
• Serve as a liaison for students, families, faculty, and staff.
• Coordinate complex curriculum record updates.
• Assist with orienting incoming transient students and other special populations to campus.
• Implement and contribute to changes and improvements to the Office of The Registrar processes and communications.

Bachelor’s Degree in no specific discipline.
Level I: No experience required
Level II: Requires 2 years or more of experience in higher education administration, preferably in a Registrar’s Office.
When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
The successful candidate should have excellent customer service, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Being comfortable working in a fast-paced, public environment is key. The individual should also work well in a team, with exceptional attention to detail, ability to prioritize, organizational and analytical skills, patience, interpersonal and written communication skills, and a commitment to an inclusive and diverse campus environment.
