Summary
The Senior Coordinator, Business Operations will provide support to the department by coordinating financial and business processes, processing personnel related transactions, and liaising with the Manager of Business Operations and other Psychology leadership.
Job Duties
- Supports day to day business financial processes for Psychology Research team, including maintenance of faculty funds, Concur reimbursements, travel, and SSO purchases on grant funding. Continuously review expenditures to ensure proper reconciliation, accuracy, and compliance.
- Partners directly with each research faculty for position management requests including terminations, new hires, equities, promotions, etc., and then work 1:1 with the Manager of Business Operations for submission of request(s). Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires within research, including interview scheduling, travel arrangements (if approved), office setup, TCH access creation, etc. May assist the Manager of Business operations with visa sponsorship needs for incoming research faculty and staff.
- Maintains the Psychology research office space to ensure in-office printers and electronics are working properly. Maintenance of office supplies, including tracking inventory and ordering new supplies as necessary. Responsible for all mail-related tasks including pick up from main Peds office and distribution within Psychology research suite, as well as creation of FedEx labels as needed. Responsible for all IS and IT requests for research team, including follow up and proper closure of tickets. May assist research team with printing, copying, filing, label creation, and other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for meeting and scheduling coordination for all research faculty, including calendaring and conference room setup as needed. Acts as liaison for scheduling meetings between the Manager of Business Operations and research team members.
- Responsible for coordinating all necessary pieces for the annual Dr. Anderson lecture, including travel arrangements (as appropriate), conference room setup/Zoom virtual setup, ordering of necessary supplies which may include concessions. Ordering and coordination of award or honorarium
- Responsible for approving time for all Research Coordinators/assistance supporting the Psychology research faculty.
- Assists research faculty and staff with quote and PO creation as needed for ordering protocols.
- Assists research faculty with CV and biosketch maintenance, including updating publications and citations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Familiarity with research-related operations.
