The Biological Science department at Mississippi College is looking
for an assistant or associate professor whose area of expertise is
neuroscience. The candidate must have a PhD in neuroscience and the
ability to teach neuropharmacology is a plus. Involving
undergraduates in research is expected. Applicants must be of
Christian faith. Potential for startup funds through the MS
INBRE.
MS College is a small liberal arts institution which has an outstanding pre-medical program with approximately 300 undergraduate and 100 graduate students. The Biology facility has outstanding research equipment for student research. The department emphasizes collegiality and fosters a low stress work place. Clinton MS is a small community 10 miles west of Jackson, MS.
MS College was founded in 1826 and is a private comprehensive University with over 80 undergraduate majors, more than 50 graduate areas of study and approx. 4500 students. It is affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention.
