Job Summary

Job Summary
Parking Garage Attendants will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the parking structure, ensuring smooth traffic flow, and providing excellent customer service to patrons. Duties will include monitoring the facility, assisting customers as needed, executing opening and closing procedures, supporting events hosted at the facility, and reporting any safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.
Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Facility: Regularly patrol the parking garage to ensure compliance with parking regulations, monitor for any suspicious activity, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the premises.
- Customer Service: Greet patrons, answer inquiries, and provide assistance with parking directions, payment methods, and other related queries. Offer courteous and helpful service to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Opening and Closing Procedures: Perform routine checks and tasks during opening and closing hours, such as ensuring all gates and entrances are functioning properly, lights are operational, and security systems are activated or deactivated as needed.
- Event Support: Assist with coordinating parking logistics for special events or occasions held at the facility, including directing traffic, managing overflow parking, and providing guidance to attendees.
- Safety Reporting: Immediately report any safety hazards, malfunctions, or incidents to the appropriate authorities and follow established protocols for addressing emergencies or security concerns.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of daily transactions, parking occupancy rates, and any incidents or issues encountered during the shift. Ensure that all required documentation is completed promptly and accurately.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the parking garages for
extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Office computers, printer/ scanner/ copier, facility keys and gate
machinery for securing the garages, parking space cones, a-frame
signage, and pay stations machines.
