Description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship supervised by Professor Lisa Piccirillo in the research area of 3-and 4-dimensional topology. The expected opening is for Fall 2025. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to excellence in mentoring through teaching, research, and service. The appointment will be for one year with a teaching load of 1/1 per long semester. The salary is $70,000 annually with health and retirement benefits.

To ensure full consideration for the academic year of 2025-26, all materials should arrive by December 1, 2025.

Qualifications

Ph.D. by July 1, 2025.
