The Spectrum Office is responsible for the support and maintenance of three administrative software applications, PeopleSoft Financials, ONEUSG Connect and Panther Mart (SciQuest e-procurement system).

The Financials System, better known as ‘Spectrum Plus’, consists of the General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Payables, Asset Management and Purchasing modules. ONEUSG Connect is comprised of HR management, time and attendance, and benefits administration. Panther Mart consists of Higher Markets and Total Supplier Management.

The Spectrum Office at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Business Analyst to provide analysis and support for Financial and HR Applications of the University using PeopleSoft, Oracle, and SciQuest/Jaggaer.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This position will support GSU’s financial and HR systems by developing queries/reports and training users. All systems are web-based. These applications are used to enhance the University’s business processes, provide summarized and detailed data that is easily accessible through inquiries, queries and reports, and maintain a reliable and secure database.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Work on resolving help desk tickets assigned to the team.
  • Provide training to end users on the systems supported by the Spectrum Office
  • Responsible for testing and updating new patches and system changes as required.
  • Maintain Security and Workflow for PeopleSoft Financials, HCM and/or SciQuest applications.
  • Perform data collection and analysis on requests for the systems supported by the Spectrum Office.
  • Assist with query and report development.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis.
  • Document system changes.
** This position is limited to applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information technology and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with training end users.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Security and Workflow
  • Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
  • Experience in using databases, particularly Oracle and SQL developer.
  • Experience in developing reports and queries in PeopleSoft.
