Description/Job Summary

The Microsoft Instructor is responsible for training students in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Conduct lectures that instruct participants how to use Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Administer written and practice drills and exams.
  • Evaluate and grade students class work and assignments.
  • Maintain students grades and attendance, and report student progress to responsible staff.
  • Manage all classroom issues and communicate any problems or concerns with the coordinator.
  • Support student testing and certification in Microsoft.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • Certifications in Microsoft Office - Specialist Level
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in training/teaching in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in using MS Office with advance knowledge in Excel and Word.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Systems.
  • 5 years’ experience in training Microsoft Office
  • Experience in working in a community college setting
