About the LeBow College of Business Finance Department

Job Summary

The LeBow College of Business at Drexel University seeks an adjunct instructor for the Real Estate Management and Development Program . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate principles, property management, and urban development strategies. Responsibilities include developing and delivering engaging course materials, fostering a dynamic classroom environment, and mentoring students through real-world case studies and projects. Applicants should have relevant professional experience and a graduate degree in a related field. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the academic growth of students while being part of a leading business college.

Essential Functions
  • Teach the number of hours required based on the credit hours of the course
  • Evaluate student work for the purpose of providing feedback and determining grades
  • Maintain and keep updated a grade book in the Blackboard Learn course management system
  • Schedule office hours for at least two hours per week and respond to student emails within two business days
  • Administer a final exam or evaluation during the final exam week as required by Drexel University guidelines
  • Participate in assurance of learning evaluations administered for the purposes of accreditation or retention
  • Uphold the Drexel University Academic Integrity Policy
  • Maintain communication with the Finance Department Head or relevant program coordinator regarding course or student issues
  • Participate in online human resources training related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Other course-related duties as determined by LeBow and Drexel policies
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • One year of teaching or at least three years professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters or doctoral degree in finance, business, or related field
