Position Function

Responsible for producing creative video content for Ball State’s athletics programs and external platforms.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field of study by date of employment.

Minimum Experience

One year of experience in an athletics environment.

Minimum Other

Good interpersonal, management, and organizational skills;

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Master’s degree.

Preferred Experience

Three years of experience in a NCAA Division 1 athletic department.

Preferred Other

Strong content creation background, creative ideas, and have a proven track record for creating high level content. Ability to work in a team/collaborative environment is critical.

Pre-Employment Screening

Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Job Duty

Produce high level video content for Ball State Athletics that includes shooting and editing dynamic pieces for all sport platforms, i.e. website, social channels, television network, in-venue, live production, etc.

Responsible for content creation plans and execution for assigned sports and projects.

Serve as liaison between Athletics and University Media Services and Sports Link.

Oversee a staff of student assistants while recruiting, mentoring and collaborating with students and department staff on all aspects of photo and video production.
