Performs responsible and complex duties associated with a specialized function of a section of clerical employees. Duties may be generally described as: planning, assigning, coordinating, directing, scheduling, evaluating, verifying, training, and processing of information. Initiative and independent judgments are frequently exercised in formulating procedures or methods, and in program coordination. Major/Essential Functions
- Adheres to institutional and departmental safety policies and procedures.
- Supports the Values Based Culture of TTUHSC.
- Acts as a liaison between TTUHSC Libraries and vendor reps, as needed.
- Creates purchase orders in TechBuy.
- Creates receipts in TechBuy and submits invoices through Accounts Payable invoice submission website (for Lubbock) and adds comments on purchase order in TechBuy (for El Paso).
- Creates monthly report.
- Checks for any quotes/invoices requested, but not received.
- Keeps quote/PO/invoice list up to date
- Updates vendor contact list.
- Attends required meetings and relevant trainings.
- Helps with special projects as needed.
