A 40-hour per week 10-month academic year position as a Snack Bar Attendant reporting to the Paresky Late Night Manager is available. The schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday 3:00 - 11:30 pm, with Monday and Tuesday off. Schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the department.

Working under the daily supervision of the Manager, this position will be responsible for food production, cash handling, and appropriate customer service. Specific duties include preparing individual menu items for customer orders; sanitizing equipment, food preparation and customer service areas; restocking inventories as needed; and assisting in opening/closing the food production and dining areas.

The successful applicant should be enthusiastic, energetic and possess strong customer service skills. Knowledge and ability to work on a grill, use basic math skills, handle a flexible schedule, stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds is required. The ability to relate to customers and staff in a professional manner is essential. Kitchen experience and general knowledge of food service preferred.

Pay range is $21 to $23 per hour, commensurate with experience.
