HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Office of International Initiatives (OII) seeks an International Partnerships and Agreements Program Coordinator to work in a high-volume, outcomes-driven office where teamwork and collaboration are valued.

The Program Coordinator works closely with OII senior leadership and unit directors to maintain and develop agreements necessary to support the work of the various OII units, including study abroad programs, faculty initiatives, and special programs.

This position plays a key role in OII’s mission to strengthen targeted and robust international partnerships that underpin the university’s strategic mission and goals, including international education and globally engaged research.

The Program Coordinator will:

  • Coordinate and support the development, renewal, and termination of institutional partnership agreements.
  • Work closely with colleagues within OII and college and administrative offices throughout the university to advise on the development and maintenance of agreements supporting faculty and student mobility initiatives, research collaboration, and other international initiatives.
  • Track and manage agreement review and notifications within i-Agree workflow, GSU’s customized contract management system and maintain physical and electronic agreement records.
  • Manage agreements execution process.
  • Maintain user guides and other documentation resources.
  • Serve as point person for the coordination of international partners and other international visits to the GSU campus. Work with campus partners and OII staff to ensure the success of these visits. Assist in preparation of GSU delegation visits abroad.
  • Provide program development support and coordination for IPA-led initiatives such as small grants for the support of faculty research and exchange or site visits.
  • Supervise and work with student workers as appropriate and assist with other assigned tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Qualifications :

    Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience, or high school diploma or GED and six years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
    Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

    Master’s degree in a related area, such as international education or non-profit program management.

    · Experience drafting partnership agreements in a higher education setting.

    · Experience negotiating or coordinating programs in a higher education setting.

    · Strong cross-cultural communication skills and understanding of different business practices in cross-cultural environments.
