Centre College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Biology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin in August 2022. We seek a teacher-scholar who will enhance the learning and teaching environment at Centre College with their lived experiences, ideas, perspectives, and scholarship. We are looking for a plant biologist who will teach plant biology with lab, introductory genetics with lab, and introductory biology with lab. There will also be opportunities to offer classes in the candidate's area of specialty and contribute to our innovative general education curriculum. Collaborative research with undergraduates is expected and supported. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. in the biological sciences or related field by the time of appointment.
