Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an organizational development, educational design, or training-related field (adult education, learning and development, curriculum development, instructional design, educational technology, etc.) and/or an equivalent combination of experience or education.
  • Experience with designing, developing, and implementing various employee development initiatives, including training content creation (e.g., training plans, participant materials, practical exercises, needs assessments surveys and reports).
  • Ability to formulate training objectives, evaluate training effectiveness, and develop learning and development opportunities by using adult learning principles and organizational development best practices.
  • Excellent public speaking and writing skills with the ability to design and present complex information clearly, concisely, and creatively.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills with the ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in an organizational development, educational design, or training-related field (adult education, learning and development, curriculum development, instructional design, educational technology, etc.) and/or an equivalent combination of experience or education.
  • Certificates in corporate training and development, event management, leadership, and/or human resources.
  • Experience with learning management systems (e.g., SF Learning, LinkedIn Learning, Canvas, etc.)
  • Experience with content creation tools/development platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, etc.).
  • Experience with SCORM content and course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate).
  • Knowledge of event and project management principles.
  • Strong creative, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams.
  • Ability to take initiative, multitask, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.


Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager of Talent Development and Communications, this position is responsible for identifying learning needs and creating effective training and development opportunities for employees and launching innovative learning solutions that inform and engage internal audiences.

Job Duties:
  • Serve as primary owner of synchronous training and development programming, including maintenance of course calendar, semesterly programming review and addressing programming gaps through content curation, development, and outreach.
  • Serve as primary owner and facilitator of the TXST Leadership Academy.
  • Provide primary facilitation support for large-scale, synchronous development events (e.g., Development Day, National Career Development Month, etc.)
  • Provide secondary support for eLearning development initiatives and facilitation support for small-scale synchronous workshops (e.g., DiSC workshops, New Manager Assimilation Training, New Employee Welcome sessions, etc.)
  • Solicit feedback on learning and development initiatives and make recommendations based on analytics for improvement on the quality, consistency, delivery mechanisms, and overall effectiveness of the efforts.
  • Research and identify new employee development opportunities; lead and/or collaborate on associated projects with guidance from the manager.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
