The Admissions Manager will be pivotal in managing the admissions process for our online master's programs, with a strong focus on driving enrollment growth and achieving ambitious targets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies, engaging prospective students, and effectively communicating the benefits of our programs. Your role will involve overseeing the comprehensive review of applications, collaborating with other online program teams, and ensuring transparent policies align with program goals, all while maximizing conversion rates and enhancing the student experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Admissions & Enrollment
- Oversee the timely review process of applications, ensuring
fair and consistent evaluation of candidates based on academic
qualifications and alignment with program goals.
- Maintain transparent admissions policies and procedures,
including eligibility criteria, application deadlines, and
application requirements. Regularly update these policies to align
with evolving program needs and university standards.
- Supervise, train, and motivate admissions counselor staff to
meet or exceed enrollment targets.
- Leverage expertise in admissions to actively engage in
recruitment webinars, coffee chats, and other events as required.
The admissions manager will need to be able to actively participate
in on-camera events.
- Work with the Admissions Operations team to process Master's
applications in the Slate system. As a Slate user, become familiar
with the workflows and processes.
- Establish effective communication channels with prospective
applicants, providing timely and accurate information regarding the
application process, admission decisions, and next steps. Respond
promptly to inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain relationships with the online team and collaborate to
advise on departmental inquiries.
- Collaborate with the online team to plan and host information
sessions for prospective and accepted students.
- Collaborate with the on campus admissions team for idea
generation and cross departmental training.
- Manage degree conferral process for entering students, ensuring
transcript accuracy and compliance with academic policies and
timelines.
- Oversee the timely review process of applications, ensuring
fair and consistent evaluation of candidates based on academic
qualifications and alignment with program goals.
- Data Collection, Analysis, Evaluation & Systems
- Utilize admissions management systems and technology tools to
streamline and enhance the admissions process. Work closely with
the Operations Team to update the CRM and workflows as
needed.
- Regularly collect and analyze data related to admissions to
identify trends, assess the effectiveness of recruitment
initiatives, and refine strategies for maximum impact.
- Use Slate to track students from recruitment to enrollment,
ensuring a seamless and engaging journey for all
prospects.
- Use this data to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of
initiatives, and make data-driven decisions for continuous
improvement. Adapt strategies based on feedback and outcomes to
ensure that the School is making meaningful progress toward
enrollment goals.
- Utilize admissions management systems and technology tools to
streamline and enhance the admissions process. Work closely with
the Operations Team to update the CRM and workflows as
needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, masters degree preferred, and 3-5 years of
experience in higher education, ideally with a focus on admissions
or financial aid, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
- Proficient with G suite, MS Office 365, and communication tools
(e.g., Slack, Teams), and able to adapt to new tools and
technologies.
- Experience using technology to streamline student communication
through ticketing systems, CRM, and/or project management tools
such as Asana.
- Experience with Slate strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and
workflows.
- Demonstrated record of personal and professional initiative,
flexibility, and excellent oral and written communication
skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Some weekends and evenings may be required.
