Job Description Summary / TWC Summary
Responsibilities of this position will include assistance of development, implementation and organization of Blackbaud, Raisers Edge NXT and database systems or any other applicable systems. As a member of the Advancement Services team within Development and Alumni Engagement, the selected individual will assist with ensuring data integrity and provide systems innovation and expertise. The Advancement Reporting and Data Analyst will also create reports and resources to support data-driven decisions and fundraising efforts. This position reports to the Executive Director of Advancement Services.

Essential Duties Summary
Data Integrity and Management:
- Accurate gift entry and tracking, adhering to university policies.
- Collaboration with University Financial Services & Treasury for gift reconciliation, fiscal closing, and audits.
- Regularly updating constituent contact information through quarterly address maintenance and database cleanup.
- Conduct data imports and maintain data quality and accuracy.
- Address inquiries from donors and resolve discrepancies.
- Preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual gift reports.
- Provide lists for mailings, solicitations, and event invitations.
- Produce annual tax acknowledgment letters in collaboration with the Director of Donor Experience.
- Write queries and support report generation for fundraising and executive reporting.
- Support event preparation and registration.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and privileges within database systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and other database systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams).
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours for events.
Work Experience
- At least two years of working with database systems, preferably in higher education advancement.
- Experience with relational database systems and fundraising software (preferably Raiser’s Edge).
- Experience in a nonprofit fundraising environment preferred.
- Knowledge of data imports, data cleanup, and quality control preferred.
- Routine office environment.
- Sitting or standing in one location much of the time.
- Use of video display terminal.
