Job Description
The Program Coordinator, under the general direction of the Bachelor of Applied Science in IT and Cybersecurity (BAS-IT CyS) Director, will assist in the planning and execution of tasks and projects in support of the program. The position will oversee the program's outreach and recruitment activities in collaboration with student services professionals; the position will perform evaluation of applicant readiness and will serve as a guide as students navigate through program requirements.
Additional duties include interaction with partner companies and students to collect, analyze, and generate reports associated with enrollment, student progress, and program effectiveness. Administrative responsibilities also include but are not limited to planning program events, conducting student orientation, and performing student well-being check-ups.

Responsibilities
Recruitment:
Collaborate with Admissions, the CECS Success Center, and others to organize recruitment events to promote BAS-IT CyS Program at TBR and regional schools, including campus, faculty, and classroom visits and ensure timely response to all inquiries and follow-up with correct, relevant information; and promote BAS-IT CyS Program to employers and students through campus events, community events, professional gatherings, and social media.
Application Management:
Provide guidance on application process; close collaboration with Admissions, Registrar, the Strategic Enrollment Technology (SET) Team, CASA and the CECS Student Success Center to review pertinent student data related to admissions and internship placement as well as orientation; and use of software to track applications, review transcripts and evaluate student requirements.
Administrative Support:
Track and generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports that include pertinent data points as needed; coordinate with designated employer contacts to collect, record, and generate monthly intern performance evaluation reports; ensure students successfully register for classes each semester and meet with academic advisors per the most current UTC and CECS practices; encourage student accountability by instructing them on important dates and how to find key information related to their progress; perform bi-weekly student well-being checks; maintain open communication with students; and communicate with employers as needed.

A Limited Duration Appointment (LDA) is a form of regular employment for a specific project or for a limited period. An LDA may be established for up to one year with an option to renew the appointment annually for a maximum of three years. Please note that this position may be converted to a permanent position prior to or at the conclusion of three years, funding dependent.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree and two years as an academic recruiter, advisor, or related position.
Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and fours years as an academic recruiter, advisor, or related position; must be self-motivated and ready to take initiative and make independent decisions driven by the mission and vision of the college; ability to work well with others and overcome conflicts easily; along with excellent oral and written communication skills, must also be detail-oriented, highly organized and efficient; flexibility of thought, ability to pivot and innovate is large and important function of the position; and advanced computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), social media platforms and ability to use a CRM software system.
