The National Transportation Center’s Program Administrator supports research projects and education, workforce development, and outreach activities by managing the day-to day administrative task.
Job Duties
Education:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Communication, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
At least one year of administration experience is required.
Other Preferences for Consideration
A Master’s Degree in Transportation, Communication, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Job Summary
The National Transportation Center’s Program Administrator supports research projects and education, workforce development, and outreach activities by managing the day-to day administrative task.
Job Duties
- Proposal shepherding: supporting faculty in developing proposals, budgets, and financial narratives for research proposals and existing grants
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with university and sponsor requirements, and identifying and addressing compliance issues
- Communication: Communicating critical information to principal investigators and disseminating information about changes to research policy and procedures
- Other related activities assigned by the Director as needed
Education:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Communication, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
At least one year of administration experience is required.

A Master’s Degree in Transportation, Communication, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

- Occasional center administration may be required in addition to research administration
- Experience in administration, especially research administration is highly preferred
