Applications are invited for an Assistant Professor of Mathematics (Tenure-Track) position at Lander University to begin August 2025.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field. Candidates who are ABD will also be considered, provided they are on track to complete their degree within six (6) months of hiring. We welcome applications from all mathematics areas, including computational and applied mathematics, statistics, data analytics, and related disciplines. A strong commitment to excellent teaching is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a record of outstanding teaching, particularly with a diverse student body.   The contract period is nine months.  The normal teaching load is 12 contact hours each semester. 

Responsibilities will also include departmental, college, and university-level service and an ongoing scholarship program.
