Welding Instructor (202308)
Location: McCook
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
Position: McCook Community College is seeking a part-time teacher to work with local high school students for career exploration in the area Welding Technology. This position is approximately six hours per week, M – TH 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. and will follow a traditional high school calendar.
Duties include but are not limited to teaching high school students basic welding techniques, working with full-time faculty to determine appropriate teaching activities, and encouraging high school students to pursue a career in welding.

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in welding and/or five years of documented work experience in welding and the desire to work with high school age students. Previous experience in an education setting is helpful.
