Profile

The School of Architecture and Design at the Lebanese American University is currently accepting applications for a Tenure or Non-Tenure track faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, to start in Fall 2025.

The successful applicant should be an accomplished designer with a substantial portfolio of professional work in interior design.  He/she should be able to teach a range of design studios from intermediate to the senior levels, as well as theoretical and/or technical courses. The selected candidate should also play a major role in the development of the program and the initiation of academic activities.

Minimum Requirements

A Master (post-professional) degree in interior design, in addition to a minimum of three years of teaching and/or professional experience in the field.

Duration of position

This position will commence in Fall 2025, which starts by the end of August 2025. Full time contracts include significant benefits and are renewed annually based on the university’s policies for this rank.
