Under the direction of the Vice President for Enrollment Management/Marketing and Student Services (VPEMMSS), the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management
CAUS/GRAD) is responsible for the development, direction, implementation, and evaluation of all recruitment activities related to the non-traditional/adult College of Adult Undergraduate Studies (CAUS) and College of Graduate and Professional Studies (GRAD) programs. The
A VPEM-CAUS/GRAD works collaboratively with the VPEMMSS, Deans, Directors, and other cross-functional staff to set data-informed enrollment projections and to implement comprehensive strategies to achieve and maintain optimum enrollment goals.
Other key responsibilities include assessing needs, developing and implementing recruitment plans, staff development, and coordinating prospective and current student activities. This position is also tasked with developing and implementing strategic initiatives annually that will Drive enrollment specific programs at Notre Dame. The AVPEM-CAUS/GRAD works collaboratively with the VPEMMSS in the implementation and oversight of a university strategic plan and other enrollment related goals to achieve and maintain the enrollment goals for the University. This includes the creation and implementation of new enrollment partnerships, including the development of transfer articulation agreements with community colleges and relationships with corporate, non-profit, and government entities.
Essential Functions
• Develop, implement and evaluate data informed recruitment plans for the CAUS and GRAD programs, in collaboration with academic deans and other staff, and provide leadership and managerial oversight through regular meetings with enrollment management recruiters.
• Work with the University's marketing and communications team in the development of marketing materials including digital advertising/targeting, brochures, posters, and promotion items, as well as provide oversight for and assist in maintaining updated event, admission, and recruitment information on the University's website for CAUS and GRAD programs.
• Assists the VPEMMSS in the preparation, analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data reports, including competitor analysis, for use in developing recruitment strategies and achieving enrollment goals.
• Implement and assess admissions criteria and oversee admissions decisions that
further the University's enrollment goals.
• Develop enrollment strategies for CAUS and GRAD territories, using various recruitment strategies such as personal selling and networking, e-mail, tele-recruiting, information sessions, college and corporate recruitment fairs, employer visits and other on and off campus events, including working closely with the CAUS and GRAD teams to develop and implement orientation programs for all adult students each semester.
• Drive innovation through strategic initiatives that are planned in accordance with current market factors and opportunities that are specific to Notre Dame.
• Work closely with the VPEMMSS in developing enrollment projections for all CAUS and GRAD programs, in collaboration with academic deans and directors, in alignment with the Strategic Planning & Budget Committee process.
• Serve as a member of the Strategic Enrollment and Marketing Committee(s) (or their successor committees), an interdivisional effort to integrate enrollment and program planning, marketing strategy and projections for all University undergraduate and
graduate degree-granting programs.
• Administer and oversee all aspects of the CAUS and GRAD Enrollment Management operating budget, including salary management, in consultation with the VPEMMSS.
• Develop and maintain a strong team of enrollment professionals, including but not limited to hiring, evaluating, disciplining and the termination of staff in conjunction with the Human Resources Department.
• Participate in and contribute to the University's strategic, operational and budget planning processes related to CAUS & GRAD programs.
• Maintain up-to-date strategic and operational policies, procedures, and practices for the enrollment management areas in alignment with current and emerging industry best practices for CAUS and GRAD programs.
• Assure policies, procedures, and practices are in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations, and the University's goals and objectives.
NOTE: This position also includes the overall responsibility and supervision of MUIH recruitment which will merge into NDMU's CAUS/GRAD programs at the completion of the acquisition.

Qualifications
Knowledge: Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. A Bachelor degree is required.
Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of professional work experience in higher
education (private college or university preferred) in an administrative or supervisory
capacity with evidence of progressively increasing responsibility. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to engage in recruitment planning and implementation, data and trend analysis, and program development. Significant experience in developing and implementing enrollment management activities, with specific experience in corporate outreach, non-traditional/adult admissions, and graduate and/or professional recruitment, and is essential.
Skills/ Aptitude: The selected candidate must possess demonstrated administrative and management sldlls, along with strong leadership and excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively represent the University with external and internal audiences and stakeholders. Strong initiative and ability to devise solutions to complex problems and effectively manage multiple long and short-term strategies, programs, and objectives. Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of students. An appreciation and commitment to the history, values and mission of NDMU. Position requires the use of independent judgment and discretion in decision-making and to make seasoned business judgments and offer sound guidance on priorities, issues and directions. Knowledge of and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Ellucian Colleague), Enrollment Marketing Platform (EMP) system (Liaison), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), and other applicable technologies.
Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Responsibilities outside the normal workday are required, including attendance at evening and weekend events & functions.
