As Walden grows, we continue its tradition of quality. The School of Health Sciences seeks part-time (contributing) faculty members in the Ph.D. Health Services program. The Ph.D. Health Services program is currently seeking faculty with teaching experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas: health management and policy, health economics, and health finance. Contributing faculty in the Ph.D. Health Services program at Walden University:
- Teach online courses in the Ph.D. Health Services program
- May participate in mentoring graduate students in their dissertations
- Provide service to the School of Health Sciences and Walden University, and may teach face-to-face seminars at University academic residencies.
- Earned doctorate in Health Services, Healthcare Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the graduate level in the field of study
- Record of scholarly activity in the health services industry.
- Experience supervising student research, and sitting on dissertation/thesis committees at the graduate level is preferred.
