The University of Kentucky seeks candidates for a tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition, with a start date of approximately August 1, 2015. This is a full time, 12- month position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Regular Title Series, with primarily research and teaching responsibilities.


Responsibilities of this position include:
• A Distribution of Effort of approximately 60% research and 40% instruction.
• Faculty assignments and DOE are subject to annual negotiation between the chair and the faculty.
• Participation in the department through teaching undergraduate and graduate students.
• Service as a thesis advisor and committee member for graduate thesis projects.
• Departmental service as a member of a team-oriented group of professionals.
• Development of an applied or translational research agenda with external funding support and publication in appropriate refereed journals.
