The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of traumatic brain injury neurology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification or eligibility in Neurology or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.

Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient traumatic brain injury clinic and in-patient traumatic brain injury consultations at Penn Medicine.

In addition to outpatient TBI clinic and inpatient TBI consultations at Penn Medicine, the ideal candidate will have an interest in engaging in scholarly activity and will have the opportunity to assist with ongoing TBI studies. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
