The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of surgical pathology with experience in GU pathology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. American Board of Pathology, AP-only or AP/CP.
Teaching responsibilities may include medical students, residents, and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include participation in the GU pathology service in Penn Medicine including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital and its affiliates, general frozen section service, autopsy service and night/weekend call. Coverage of additional surgical pathology subspecialties will be considered. The main practice site will be Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
