Primary Function:
Responsible for performing activities related to directing, planning, administering, and coordinating the District’s federal, state, and institutional financial assistance and scholarship programs including Veterans Administration (VA) Educational Benefits; authorizes financial aid packages and assures compliance with federal and state program requirements.
Salary: $11,496.20 [step 1] - $14,003.80 [step 5]. Step placement may be negotiable dependent upon education and experience. Administrators that possess earned doctorates from accredited institutions are awarded an annual stipend of $1,842.81.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications:
- Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible financial aid experience in a higher education setting, including two years of management responsibility.
- Note: For work experience, a “year” is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months. For supervisory experience, the experience must be at a professional level (i.e. evaluation and/or discipline of staff).
- Education: A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
