Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field of business or education.
- At least 2 years in an administrative, coordinator, teaching, or project management position.
- CPM certification preferred.
- Ability to travel for 1-2 days for course coordination once per quarter.
Job Description:
Assist the Director of the Texas State Certified Public Manager Program and other staff with administrative and educational functions to support the Program, considered exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Job Duties:
- Invoicing and Payment.
- Manage Texas State University CPM program registrations, certification only and academic credit participants, for multiple locations.
- Manage student invoices, track payment to completion, maintain reports.
- Manage university partner invoices, track payment to completion, maintain reports.
- Track speaker purchasing requirements, vendor processes, invoices, and payments to completion, maintain reports.
- Communicate with multiple related Texas State University personnel.
- Manage speakers bureau and budget across CPM program courses and locations, communicating with directors.
- Assist TARC Program Coordination.
- Administer student, speaker, and TARC communications.
- Maintain TARC CANVAS Site.
- Administer logistics and materials for meetings (on-site locations, Zoom mtgs, etc.).
- Grade student assignments and track progress.
- Travel to TARC locations once per track as needed.
- Assist with Graduation Activities.
- Research graduation-related purchases.
- Coordinate purchasing.
- Administer printing and copying (certificates, programs, etc.).
- Manage logistics and materials (framing, transport, site set up, clean up, etc.).
