The School of Engineering and Engineering Technology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering (R0066082) beginning in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses and laboratories in Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate is also required to teach in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program. This includes a teaching load of 9 instructional units each semester. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline with a BS in Mechanical Engineering or any other related engineering program.

Preferred Qualifications:   Prior teaching engineering courses; Experience in teaching in a hybrid or on-line environment; Expertise in engineering software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Ansys, LabView, MATLAB; Post-doctoral or industrial experience.
