JOB SUMMARY :
The Program Coordinator I play a vital role in driving project success and providing high-level executive administrative support. This position is crucial in ensuring that projects align with organizational goals and that senior management is supported with precise and proactive assistance. The coordinator will regularly prepare and present updates to management, assist in work-plan development, and track progress to ensure innovation and transformation goals are met.

This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with the ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate multiple projects, and communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.

Essential Duties Summary
  • Liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results.
  • Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities.
  • Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior management, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
  • Draft, review, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of senior management, ensuring all materials are professional and error-free.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range
$55,038.89 - $70,174.59

Education

Some college or Associate Degree (A.A.) and/or vocational or technical school and/or specialized training or certification. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensing/Certification

Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of:
  • Policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Other job-related, banner systems, software and systems.
  • Requires some seasoning and experience beyond the entry level to conduct moderately complex work. Demonstrates general competence and growing knowledge and understanding of the overall function or discipline.
  • Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with office management systems, software, and tools.

Skill in:
  • Problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Multitasking and time management.
  • Both verbal and written communication.

Ability to:
  • Prepare detailed reports.
  • Work independently.
  • Communicate effectively.
Work Experience

Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience.

Working/Environmental Conditions
