Director Government Relations



Leads the Office of Government Relations with a primary focus on local, state and federal government relationships and is the key point of contact for UToledo’s contract lobbyists. Manages UToledo's Government Relations activities at the local level and works with lobbyists to manage the state and federal levels. Responsibilities include planning and development of the institution's response to proposed legislation; developing and maintaining effective relationships with government agencies and officials; analyzing, assessing and advocating on legislative, administrative, and regulatory government activities as they pertain to UToledo and UToledo Health programs, activities and operations; and communicating these activities and information to internal and external stakeholders in partnership with UToledo’s contract lobbyists.
