The Manager, Workforce Community Center promotes nontraditional educational programs, to meet the needs of a multi-cultural community. The Workforce Community Center Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Campus Operations and:

Job Summary
The Manager, Workforce Community Center promotes nontraditional educational programs, to meet the needs of a multi-cultural community. The Workforce Community Center Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Campus Operations and:
- Ability to empathize with students and stakeholders of greatly
varied experiences, and an appreciation for community-centered
solutions.
- Recognize emerging issues and create frameworks for
collaboration that foster training opportunities for
constituents.
- Supports educational programs designed to promote skills-based
learning and certification attainment.
- Identify and foster relationships with existing community and
business leaders.
- Support ongoing workforce development training programs with
logistical and material coordination for
- Promote high-demand programs tailored to community and local
industry needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Networking aptitude.
- Great attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) years college (preferred) or High School Diploma with
two (2) years’ experience in workforce development and/or
apprenticeship projects (required).
- Two (2) years’ supervisory experience
- Two (2) years’ experience organizing and coordinating groups
for various activities.
- Official transcripts are required.
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and managing a pipeline of
candidates to fill skills-based learning and training
programs.
- Communities point of contact for recruitment of workforce
training pipeline.
- Community outreach and engagement of business and industry
partners.
- Research surrounding eco-system, identify key stakeholders and
establish partnerships to support program self-sufficiency and
long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate with Schools of and business and industry partners
to develop customized training solutions embedded with industry
recognized credentials and certifications.
- Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects
with community partners.
- Responsible for maintaining a log of all the people they
contact.
- Completes required Dallas College professional development
training hours per academic year.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
