Design Specialist, Graphic Designer

Position Summary: Marketing and Communications. This position will support the University’s overall print and electronic/Web design needs in the planning and preparation of brochures, advertisements, marketing campaigns, fundraising materials, websites, micro sites, flash features, reports, and general assignments in support of the University’s mission. The majority of time will be spent providing marketing design support and leading branding campaigns within various units and departments across campus. This position may also serve as a back-up photographer and photo editor for the University supporting the production of Web, marketing, communications and advertising as needed. Georgia Southern University is a Tobacco Free Campus.

 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; three or more years related work experience; effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of print process; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.

 

Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
