Instructor of Spanish

Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of English and World Languages invites applications for the position of Instructor of Spanish. This position will teach Spanish courses in either face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats and provide services to the department and university beginning the Spring 2025 semester.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Spanish or related field with 18 graduate credits in Spanish from an accredited university by hire date

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven excellence in teaching at the college level and a demonstrated ability to integrate a variety of software and multimedia resources into world language instruction
• Familiarity with creating and administering on-line courses and experience coordinating a language program will be particularly considered
• Able to teach other languages offered by the department (French, German, Italian, Chinese)
