A fixed-term position in the fashion merchandising program beginning August of 2015. Teaching and appropriate service to the university, community and profession are expected.
Teaching
Teach undergraduate courses in two or more of the following areas: The area of merchandising technology, consumer behavior, global merchandising, buying and sourcing, and/or other related merchandising topics as needed.
General
Provide services to the university and community. Participate in the development of a new merchandising graduate program and the continued development of undergraduate merchandising program. Maintain contacts and activity with professional associations and industries.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Merchandising, Apparel and Textiles, or a closely related field. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
Preferred Education and Experience: Ph.D. in Merchandising
Experience in undergraduate and/or graduate teaching and apparel/textile industry preferred.
