The College of Arts, Education and Sciences at Clarion University seeks applications for a full-time, temporary instructor in the department of Education and department of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics to teach undergraduate courses in mathematics education and mathematics. Position will include the supervision of secondary mathematics student teachers. Position is contingent on the availability of funding.

Required qualifications: Master’s Degree in mathematics education; three years experience teaching K-12 education; minimum one year higher education teaching experience in mathematics education; and completion of a successful an interview. Preferred qualifications: Pennsylvania teaching certificate and coursework completed toward terminal degree in mathematics education.

Prior to employment the successful candidate will be required to obtain and submit current clearances from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI.
