Assistant Registrar for Degree Audit System and Reporting

The Office of the Registrar at Syracuse University invites qualified candidates to submit applications for the position of Assistant Registrar for Degree Audit System and Reporting. Located in Syracuse, NY in Central New York, Syracuse University has an enrollment of over 20,000 students.
 
The newly created position of Assistant Registrar for Degree Audit System and Reporting reports to the Associate Registrar for Student Services. The position will provide functional and technical support for the Universities degree audit system and will be responsible for generating and maintaining Office of the Registrar reports and queries as well as creating new queries to provide data to the office and schools and colleges on an as needed basis.
 
Required qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree required and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.  Working knowledge of relational database management systems (e.g. Oracle etc.) and SQL tables, views and joins.  Advanced knowledge of programming, querying, as well as the ability to apply programming logic to assist in problem solving.  Experience working with a broad range of academic staff; project planning, management and execution is required.
