This is the best job in the country for an entrepreneurial, growth-minded business professional who is passionate about radically improving access to quality higher education.
Your job will be to build on the significant enrollment growth at College for America by (1) helping the senior management team evaluate new enrollment channels and business models; (2) managing the execution of the resulting business projects and partnerships, and (3) building and pursuing financially sustainable plans to grow these projects to large scale.
These new channel opportunities will complement our existing employer partnerships (which have driven 300%+ enrollment growth at CfA since our 2014 pilot, by partnering with employers to enroll working adults and frontline employees). This is an execution-oriented job in the organization’s new business strategy function. The position will work particularly closely with College for America’s workforce strategies team and corporate partnerships team, as well as cross-functionally across the entire college as a member of the school’s Leadership Team, and will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.
College for America at Southern New Hampshire University is dedicated to radically expanding access and improving the quality of higher education through delivering competency-based, low cost college degrees that are more applicable in the workplace. College for America’s success at helping working adults achieve college degrees has been held up as an example by the White House and the US Chamber of Commerce, and the school was the first in the nation to receive the US Department of Education’s approval for awarding federal financial aid independent of the traditional credit-hour model. CfA is a division of Southern New Hampshire University, an 82-year old nonprofit University which also includes a residential campus as well as one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing nonprofit online colleges.
