Family Medicine Physician Clinical Faculty at Madsen Family Health
We invite you to join the multidisciplinary faculty of the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in the School of Medicine, University of Utah. We are seeking a board-certified family physician for the position of Family Medicine Physician Clinical Faculty. You will be joining a strong family medicine faculty group and have opportunities for teaching family medicine residents, medical students, and other health science trainees. We practice in a team-based care model, with behavioral health specialists, care managers, clinical pharmacists, dieticians and others as part of our primary care team. Our Madsen Family Health clinic serves families affiliated with or working at the University of Utah and our local thriving suburban and urban communities.
Clinical resources include:
Manageable call schedules (phone call and Saturday clinic only; no hospital call)
Favorable malpractice environment
OB optional
Qualifications
- Board certification by The American Board of Family
Medicine
- Unrestricted Utah state medical license
- Experience in clinical medicine, teaching and scholarship is
preferred.
Responsibilities - 0.85 FTE - Clinical care
- 0.10 FTE - Residency Education
- 0.05 FTE - Education and scholarship
o Scholarly projects
o Teaching in didactic and small group formats - 1.0 FTE total
