Job Description:
Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics
The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics has an immediate opening for an adjunct instructor to teach (1) introductory Microsoft Excel and (1) introductory Microsoft Access to graduate students starting in January 2025. The duties include three hours of in-class lecture and laboratory instruction, evaluation, and administration of a waiver examination. The class meets Monday evenings at the Massry School of Business.
Requirements:
- PhD in relevant field or PhD candidacy is required
- Must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access+
- Past teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
Department of Marketing
The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics has an immediate opening for an adjunct instructor to teach Consumer Behavior starting January 2025. The duties include in-class lecture, hold office hours, provide academic support to students, and administer assignments and exams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing principles, consumer psychology, and practical industry experience.
Requirements:
- An MBA or master's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or closely related field is required
- Past teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
Department of Information Science and Digital Forensics
The Department of Information Security and Digital Forensics has an immediate opening for an adjunct instructor to teach two sections of Cyber Incident Response to graduate students starting in January 2025. Each section will involve 14 - 15 three hours of in-class lecture and laboratory instruction, evaluation, responding to student questions and grade submission. The requirement is to teach an in-person and online class from 5:45 pm - 8:35 pm at the Massry School of Business. The in-person class meets on Tuesday and the online class meets on Thursday. A syllabus is available on request. Instructor materials would also be available.
Requirements:
- PhD in relevant field or PhD candidacy is required
- Knowledge of cyber incident response
- Past teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
