Associate Director, Ivory-Boyer Real Estate Center

Job Summary

The Ivory Boyer Real Estate Center (IBREC) at the David Eccles School of Business is seeking an Associate Director who wants to help us take the Center to the next level. Strong candidates will be organized, personable, detail oriented, customer service oriented, and excited about working with students, faculty, staff and IBREC board members.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities

1. Coordinates IBREC activities, events, board communications and financial objectives consistent with the University's goals and objectives.
2. Promotes IBREC's and our associated degree programs through social and legacy media
3. Communicates with our board and broader community
4. Arranges logistics for all events and provides administrative support, including preparation and dissemination of informational materials and communications regarding the event. This may include, but not limited to; audiovisual usage, catering, security, supplies, transportation/parking, and guest services.
5. Manages the IBREC budgets, estimates budgetary requirements for special projects and oversees purchases, and inventory.
6. Implements and administers new and existing department programs and services to internal and external parties. Evaluates program effectiveness. May carry out and implement logistic plans and procedures to ensure that internal university and external entities' needs are met.
7. Establishes internal objectives and implements procedures to meet goals. Assists in setting department short and long-term goals.
8. Serves as part of the Center management team.
9. Performs clerical support, as needed, including scheduling appointments, participating in board meetings, transcribing minutes, responding to phone calls and emails, booking travel, expense reporting and processing.
10. Makes arrangements for hotels, meeting space, travel and transportation for student trips.

Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required
Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
Hybrid work is possible with some days worked from home most weeks.

Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, a related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required; plus six years of progressively more responsible management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communication skills also required.

Master's degree in Business Administration or related area preferred.
