Assistant Professor, Writing
The Writing Program at Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, invites applications for an assistant professor role to begin in Fall 2025. We seek candidates with teaching experience to join an established, supportive, and collegial writing program focused on student success and student empowerment. The teaching load is 4/3, which consists of courses that fulfill the first-year writing requirement for Curry College's general education program, as well as other courses in the writing program, as needed. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a PhD in Writing Studies or English with specialization in writing pedagogy. We also welcome specializations in writing program administration, writing assessment, and cultural rhetorics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong preference for candidates with experience teaching in two year college or high school settings.
